    The Art of The Catch

    All lures from MuskyGenix are handcrafted from Red Cedar wood. They have 3 coats of epoxy. Each lure is individually tested for performance. We use stiff stainless steel wiring to avoid corrosion and consider our lures “musky tough”. Triple thread split rings on our hooks and 1 inch long screw eyes when through wire is not used.

    the Sumo Shad is 3.75 inches long with a drop belly making it 2 inches wide. This lure is meant for triggering predatory fish with its life-like action. The action of this lure is well suited for fast speeds and fast rips of the rod tip.
